Creating a song in a studio involves three steps:
1. Recording
The recording process continues until you are satisfied with your performance in the booth. The time the recording takes varies on how prepared the artist is. Once finished recording, if you do not need our mixing/mastering services, the session is now over. You will now receive the raw, unprocessed tracks to take home.
2. Producing
If you are using us for mixing/mastering, it is now time to produce your track. After recording, we collaborate with you to select artistic effects such as distortion, reverb, delays, pitch correction or any special effects you can possibly think of. The time producing takes varies on how much arranging and effects the artist envisions. You'll now receive a rough draft of your song to take home.
3. Mixing with Mastering
Once you've left the studio, our focus shifts to mixing and mastering your project. This involves expert techniques like vocal and instrumental editing, additive and subtractive EQ, compression, automation, limiting, saturation, and much, much more. The final product will be delivered to you via email within 5-10 business days. Once received, you have a free revision session where you let us know if there is anything that you would like us to fix with either your mix or master.
